Ingest Data from Kepware<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can use the zero-code OPC UA connector in TDengine to easily ingest device data being collected, aggregated, and normalized by Kepware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Log in to TDengine Enterprise or TDengine Cloud and create a new Data In task.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Give the task a unique name and set its type to OPCUA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  3. \n

    Specify a database to ingest data from Kepware, or create a new database.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Under Connection Configuration<\/strong>, enter the information for your Kepware server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"\"\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Click Check Connection<\/strong>. If the message “Your data source is reachable” is displayed, this indicates that TDengine can connect to your Kepware server over OPC UA.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Under Data Sets<\/strong>, click the Namespaces<\/strong> drop-down list and select the namespaces containing the data that you want to ingest. This list is automatically populated when you connect to Kepware.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Click Preview<\/strong> next to Point Name<\/strong>. This displays all data points that match the current criteria.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Fill in the Root node ID<\/strong>, Point ID<\/strong>, and Point Name<\/strong> fields to match the data points that you want to ingest. You can refer to the previewed data in the previous step to find these items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"\"\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Define the supertable and subtable names for the ingested data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Under Collect<\/strong>, specify the desired collect mode and point update mode.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Click Save & Apply<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    A data in task has now been created to ingest data from Kepware to TDengine over OPC UA. You can open Explorer<\/strong> in TDengine and view the data being ingested in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
